Site Info: Adding Participants

  1. In the left Tool List of your site, select Site Info.
  2. Select Add Participants.
  3. Enter the Texas State Net IDs (e.g. jd1234 or j_d1234) of the people you would like to add to your site in the first text box that appears. You can add more than one person at a time by putting each username on a separate line.
For participants without Texas State usernames, under Non-Official Participants, enter their external email addresses, one per line.
  1. Choose to either Assign all participants you are adding the same role or to assign individual roles.
  2. Select Continue.
  3. Choose the role(s) for the participant(s) you are adding. 
  4. Select Continue.
  5. Choose whether or not to send an email to the user(s) informing them of their addition(s) to the site. After you've selected your option, select Continue.
  6. Verify that the participants' names are correct and select Finish to add them to the site.
If you do not know a participants username, you can look it up in CatsWeb through the Faculty/Staff and Student Directory.
