Gradebook: Add Extra Credit to Final Course Grade

Gradebook allows an instructor to add points to students final course grade for situations such as attendance or participation. This is accomplished by creating a category and setting it as extra credit. All grade items added to the extra credit category will automatically be treated as an extra credit.

DO NOT mark individual grade items as extra credit within an extra credit category. When graded those items will have an unintended effect on the overall course grade.
