Announcements For posting current, time-critical information
Assessments To create and administer online quizzes, exams, and surveys
Assignments Post, distribute, collect, and grade online assignments
Attendance Tracking attendance for your site participants
Basic LTI Allows you to add tools which support the IMS Basic Learning Tools Interoperability standard in your sites
Blogs Post, view, and respond to blogs
Calendar To display class or meeting dates, deadlines, web assignment dates, special events, and more
Chat Room For synchronous (real-time) online discussion between site participants
Contact Us This page allows you to report problems with, or suggest improvements to, TRACS
Drop Box Instructors and students can share documents within a private folder for each student
Email Send emails to individuals, groups, or all site participants
ePortfolio Integration ePortfolio assignments are synced in TRACS Assignments and any grades or comments associated with those assignments will be visible in your gradebook in TRACS
Forums Discussion tool for online discussion
Gradebook To store, calculate, and distribute grade information to students online
Home Your personal TRACS site to store documents and other resources, view calendar events, create new sites, manage your TRACS profile, and more
iRubric (Rubric Manager) Allows for the creation, use, and management of rubrics for assignments and grading
Learning Modules Structure course content in sequenced learning events
Lessons Structure course content in weeks, units, or modules with the ability to integrate with other TRACS tools, and require the completion of prerequisites
Mailing List Archive A site mailing list used to mass email and store all email messages sent to site participants
Messages Private messages composed, contained, and managed within the TRACS site
MH Campus Connect Give students access to McGraw-Hill course materials through Single Sign-On (SSO) in TRACS
MyLabsPlus Give students access to MyLabsPlus materials through Single Sign-On (SSO) in TRACS
News To display automatically-updated (RSS) news feeds from a variety of sources within a site
Overview Description of the site, recent announcements, forums, and messages displayed to site participants
Polls For anonymous polls or voting
PostEm Upload .csv formatted files to privately display attendance, extra credit, feedback, and testing center results to site participants
Profile Create an online profile -- with information such as name, position, department, phone number, location, and photo -- and share it with people they choose
Reading List Create reading lists that contain documents, videos, and other multi-media content using Ebsco
Resources Uploading and organizing documents, electronic files, or URLs for download or display
Roster Allows instructors to view a site participant’s name, username, and official university photo
Section Info Site administrator tool for managing multiple sections within a site
Sign-up Allows you to create meetings or other events (presentation times, test times, paper topics, office hours) and have site participants sign up for the event
Site Info Administartive management of a site -- allows you to make changes to site information, site tools, and site access
Site Stats Track student use of the site by user, event, or resource. This is added to each site by default and is available in the Site Info area of your site
Syllabus Post, upload, or link the syllabus and requirements for the course
TurningPoint Enables integration with the TurningPoint Technology desktop software for polling and quizzing
Web Content Create a link in the site's Tool list to a website
Wiki Allows for collaborative editing of pages and content
