TRACS 2.5.3.10 Upgrade Release Notes

The following list describes the latest enhancements made to TRACS

Tool	Description
Forums	Fixed Display Entire Message error
Profile	Ability to search for connections by name or email address added
Assignments	Ability to use assignments from one semester to another added
Notifications	Inactive (dropped) students were getting notifications from classes they dropped. This issue has been fixed.
Forums	The ability to mark an individual message as being read has been added.
Mailtool	Each time an email is sent using the mailtool in TRACS the sender will automatically be copied on the message. The sender will also be able to see to whom the email was sent.
Site Stats	The site stats tool has been completely revisited. The tool has a new dashboard that tells site administrators (instructors/TAs) the most active user, the most opened file, as well as MUCH MORE statistical information

The following list describes the latest enhancements and fixes made in TRACS

Tool	Description
Table of contents in assessments showing points	The table of contents in assessments has been changed to not show students point values for assessment questions
Assessment tool screen re-design	The assessment screen has been re-designed to allow the user to better distinguish between core, published, and retracted assessments
Assessment delete attempt dialog box	A dialog box has been added asking the instructor if they are sure they want to reset a student’s assessment attempt
Learning Modules link to URL resource on server removed	The option to use link to a URL resource on server has been removed in the Learning Modules tool because of inconsistencies
Drop Box inactive users	Inactive users (dropped students) are now automatically hidden in the drop box
Drop-down More box	The drop-down more box has been changed to MORE SITES in an effort to draw more attention to it
Section title in Section Info Tool	Users are now able to see section titles in the Section Info Tool
TA site permissions	If multiple sections and multiple TAs exist in a site then the TA will only be able to see the site gradebook for the section to which they are assigned
Mailtool permissions	Those with the student or access roles now have the ability to send email to other site participants using Mailtool

New Tools Added to TRACS

Final grade export to CatsWEB	The gradebook tool in TRACS now has the ability to generate a final grades export file that is compatible with the Registrar’s CatsWEB grade submission program
Signup tool	This tool allows instructors to create meetings for office hours, paper topics, study groups, etc., for which participants signup
