I want to give an Assessment to a specific student

Create New Group

  1. In the left Tool List of your site, click Site Info.
  2. Click Manage Groups.
  3. Click Create New Group.
  4. In the Group Title field, enter a title for your group, e.g., Project team.
  5. From the window on the left, select a site member to add to the Group Member List. Use the arrow buttons to add to or remove from the Group Member List. Repeat until you have added all the members you would like into the group.

    NOTE: You can select multiple users by holding down the Control key on a PC or Command key on a Mac and clicking on the users you wish to add.
     
  6. When you are finished, click Add.
     

Duplicate Assessment

  1. In the left Tool List of your site, click Assessments.
  2. In the Assessments: not released to students tab, select Duplicate from the drop-down Action menu next to the assessment.
  3. Click Duplicate.
  4. In your list of unpublished assessments, your duplicated assessment will be named the original assessment’s title followed by Copy #1, e.g., Syllabus Quiz – Copy #1.
     

Give an Assessment to a Specific Student or Group

  1. In the left Tool List of your site, click Assessments.
  2. In the Assessments: not released to students tab, select Settings & Publish from the drop-down Action menu next to the assessment.
  3. Click Settings & Publish, which is located in the drop-down Action menu next to the assessment you wish to give to a specified group.
  4. Click Availability and Submissions, to expand the section.
  5. Click the Entire Site drop-down menu and choose Selected Group(s). Select the group(s) that you want to release the assessment to.
  6. Verify all of the other settings for the assessment and click Save Settings and Publish.
  7. Click Publish to confirm.
