Description: The profile tool allows users to create an online profile with contact information and share it with people they choose.
Step 1: Log into TRACS and click the [Profile] button in the site menubar of My Workspace.
Step 2: To add information in the Basic Information, Contact Information, Academic Information, and Personal Information fields simply mouse-over the area you wish to edit and click the [Edit] button that appears.
Step 3: Click the [Save Changes] button to accept your changes or click the [Cancel] button to exit without saving.
Step 1: Click the [Profile] button in the site menubar of My Workspace.
Step 2: To edit information in the Basic Information, Contact Information, Academic Information, and Personal Information fields simply mouse-over the area you wish to edit and click the [Edit] button that appears.
Step 3: Click the [Save Changes] button to accept your changes or click the [Cancel] button to exit without saving.
Step 1: Click the [Profile] button in the site menubar of My Workspace.
Step 2: To change your profile picture simply mouse-over the picture area and click the [Change Picture] button that appears.
Step 3: Click the [Browse] button to locate the file you wish to use as your profile picture and click [Upload].
Step 1: Click the [Profile] button in the site menubar of My Workspace.
Step 2: Click [Search].
Step 3: You may search for people by name, email, or by common interest.
Step 4: Once you have found the person you would like to add as a connection, click the [Add as Connection] button next to their name. The person you are requesting to add as a connection will receive an email alerting them that you’ve requested a connection with them. That person will then have to log into their profile tool and accept your connection request.
Step 5: Click [Finish] to delete your link.
Privacy settings are defaulted to only allow the user or the user’s connections to view information
Step 1: the [Profile] button in the site menubar of My Workspace.
Step 2: Click [Privacy].
Step 3: Change your privacy settings for each area of your profile. Your options include:Only my connections - allows only your approved connections to view informationOnly me - keeps all information private and only allows you to view itEveryone - allows users to search and view the information
Step 4: Once your privacy settings have been changed click [Save Settings] to save your changes.
Step 1: Click the [Profile] button in the site menubar of My Workspace.
Step 2: Click the [Preferences] button.
Step 2: You are able to customize your email notification preferences as well as integrate your profile status with Twitter.
Step 3: Click the [Save Changes] button to accept your preferences changes.
