Description: The web content tool allows you to create a link to a website and have the link displayed in the left-hand tool menu.
Key concepts:
Add the Web Content Tool:

Step 1: In the site menu bar, click [Site info] then [Edit Tools]. Click the Web Content checkbox, and then click [Continue].
Step 2: In the Title field, enter a title for the link. The title will appear in the site menu bar.
Step 3: In the URL field, enter the URL for the website you wish to link to.
Step 4: Click [Continue]. You will see a summary of your changes to the site’s tools.
Step 5: Click [Finish]. Click the browser [Refresh] button, and a link to the website will appear in the site menu bar.
Modify a Web Content Link:

Step 1: In the site menu bar, click the title of the link you would like to edit.
Step 2: Click [Options], and then change the Title and URL fields. If you would like to make the page open in another window, put a check in the open in new window box.
Step 3: Click [Update Options] to confirm the changes, or click [Cancel].
Delete a Web Content Link:

Step 1: In the site menu bar, click [Site info] then [Edit Tools].
Step 2: From the list of tools, uncheck the web content tool you wish to delete.
Step 3: Click [Continue].
Step 4: On the Customize Tools screen, review your information, and then click [Continue].
Step 5: Click [Finish] to delete your link.
View a Web Content Link:

Links to a web content link are found in the site’s menu bar.
Step 1: To view the web content link, simply click the title of the link from the menu bar. The title will vary, depending on what the site’s maintainer has chosen as a title.
