So, you teach multiple sections of the same course and you decided to enroll all of those sections into a single TRACS site.  Saves you time because you only have to upload things once.  Good thinking, but what about entering grades?  When you view the gradebook, is there a way to just view a particular section?  Yes there is!  Use the Section Info tool!

The Section Info tool automatically divides your course into sections according to registrar data.  The sections are automatically named using their section number (.251, .1).  You are also able to create your own sections, call them what you want, and add students to the sections you create.

The Section Info tool works with:

• gradebook (view/enter/edit grades for a particular section)
• assignments (create an assignment for a particular section)
• announcements (add an announcement for a particular section)
• mailtool (send an e-mail to a particular section)

The Section Info tool is not just for course sites.  Project sites are able to use the tool as well.
